The town celebrates its smaller celebrations and among the acts it takes place the traditional blessing of the “roscas,”which when leaving the mass, they become the winning prize of the so called “Carrera deroscas” that takes place on the street of the married mairalesa. The roscas are carried in procession at the feet of the Virgin and the waiters who carry the pedestal receive one as a gift and the rest are distributed as prices and rewards.
The first Sunday in October, the town of Teruel celebrates its festivities in honor of the Virgen del Rosario. For such occasion altars are made in the streets of the town and the neighbors are dressed in regional costumes, there is abaturra sung mass and the “blessed bread” is distributed.
This town of Campo de Borja is also celebrating the first Sunday in October, in honor of the Virgen del Rosario. The typical dish of the day is the machorra, the sterile sheep traditionally kept for the occasion.
The machorra meat is very valued because it is tender and especially tasty. It is cooked raw with garlic, parsley, nutmeg, olive oil and white wine or cognac, and adding pepper, paprika or thyme depending on taste.

On these dates, the Fraternity of Our Lady of Rodanas of Épila commemorates the seventh anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady the Virgin of Rodanas. The party takes place in the Sanctuary of Rodanas and among other acts there is a popular meal based on rancho beef.
On the last Saturday in October, the residents of Longás have amandatory appointment, a reference in the festive and gastronomic calendar in town. Since its foundation, the century-old Community of Bienesde Lucientes and San Esteban forces the tenant farmers of the lands to contributewith a sheep to make a popular dinner, the so-called dinner of the sheep, to which the whole village goes. In addition to the sheep rancho, snacks, salads, drinks and desserts are offered for everyone.
